Guided Tour in Versailles from Paris
Posted in Monuments le
Come and discover the Palace of Versailles, the residence of the Kings of France and a gem of architecture, listed as a Unesco world heritage site.
This sumptuous palace started out as a hunting lodge belonging to Louis XIII. It was only during the reign of Louis XIV that the chateau was extended after extensive work. By making it the home of the royal court in 1982, the Sun King began to turn it into the palace that we see today: one of the finest works of French art of the 17th century.
Your tour will begin at 8.45am in the centre of Paris, from where an air-conditioned luxury coach will take you to the Versailles Estate.
