Champs-Élysées and avenue Montaigne

Every day of the week tourists from all over the world, shopping enthusiasts and fashion devotees stroll up and down the world’s most famous avenue, where haute couture and luxury names such as Louis Vuitton and Guerlain rub shoulders with popular and affordable brands such as Gap, Disney Store and Kusmi Tea. Boulevard Haussmann

The Galeries Lafayette (72,000 sqm.) and Printemps (52,000 sqm.) are without question the high points of any shopping expedition in Paris! Beneath its giant leaf-shaped canopy made of 18,000 “scales” of glass, the Forum des Halles, in the very heart of Paris, has revolutionised the Sunday shopping experience. This European shopping mall comprises more than 150 shops catering to all budgets, as well as restaurants and the largest cinema in France.

Montmartre

The legendary Montmartre hill also has plenty to offer Sunday shoppers. From vintage clothes shops to trendy boutiques, this most famous of Paris’s districts is an absolute treasure-trove. It’s ideal for a Sunday shopping outing with family or friends.

Cour Saint-Emilion

Formerly a wine market, Bercy Village is one of the most original shopping areas in the city. The remains of the stone storehouses, originally used for wine, have been renovated and converted into more than forty boutiques. Visitors are spoiled for choice: homeware, fashion, nature discovery, gastronomy and leisure activities.

Beaugrenelle

Overlooking the Seine, the futuristic glass-fronted Beaugrenelle Paris shopping centre was designed by the architects Valode & Pistre. Inspired by the Parisian department stores, and accessible by Batobus, this must-see Paris shopping venue houses 120 fashion outlets as well as restaurants and recreational facilities.

The Latin Quarter

Famous the world over, the Latin Quarter and its narrow streets offer an opportunity to combine a historical visit with a shopping expedition. Looking for a typical but trendy souvenir of Paris?
